He received his MD degree in 1997 from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and his PhD in 2005 from the Department of Epidemiology, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Ben-Gurion University, Israel. Dr. Novack is a Head of Clinical Research Center and holds a Senior Physician position in Department of Medicine in Soroka University Medical Center, Beer-Sheva, Israel and Professor of Medicine position at Ben-Gurion and Adjunct Lecturer at Harvard University. Dr. Novack led and participated in the design of more than 40 pilot and pivotal studies for the regulatory approval predominantly in the area of the cardio-vascular devices. He has been involved in multiple interactions with FDA and in cooperation with the FDA participated in writing of the position papers in area of the peripheral vascular intervention.
