Nicole Huang
Vice Dean of the College of Medicine at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University
Chair and Professor of the Institute of Hospital and Health Care Administration Dr. Huang’s primary research focuses on how individual-, provider-, and system-level characteristics influence the provision and quality of health care. She has maintained strong, long-term collaborations with the National Health Insurance Administration and agencies within Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare. In her current and prior work, she has examined provider integration and partnerships and their impacts on health care utilization and quality in Taiwan. She has also collaborated with international researchers to assess health system performance in developing countries, including Burkina Faso, Eswatini, The Gambia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Dr. Huang received her BS in Biochemistry from University of British Columbia, MPH in Health Care Administration from Boston University and Ph.D. in Health Policy and Management from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
