Lisa Lix is a Distinguished Professor and Associate Dean (Research) in the College of Community and Global Health at the University of Manitoba, Canada. She is also the Director of the Data Science Team in the George & Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation and a Senior Research Scientist at the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy. A Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Methods for Electronic Health Data Quality, Dr. Lix’s research expertise includes diagnostic accuracy validation studies, methods for chronic disease surveillance, statistical and machine-learning models for health risk prediction, multivariate and longitudinal statistical models, health services research methods, and measurement bias in patient-reported outcome measures. She collaborates extensively with research groups and organizations across Canada, including Health Data Research Network Canada, the Canadian Network for Observational Drug Effect Studies, and the Public Health Agency of Canada.
